Now on sale and available to test drive at Todds the top-selling Kia Sportage now comes with a dedicated European version that has been carefully created to establish new standards across the SUV segment. It combines a sleek yet muscular and modern exterior design with a cutting-edge premium interior, with the latest advancements in connectivity technology.

The all-new fifth-generation Sportage debuts a high-tech Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant and a Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) petrol powertrain. The very latest clean internal combustion petrol and diesel engines are also available, with each fuel type being available with the mild hybrid technology, serving to further reduce emissions and improve overall fuel economy.

Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) models will represent another first for the European Sportage when UK deliveries start from April 2022. The Sportage PHEV offers eco-friendly electric-only driving that can cover most daily commutes or shorter drives to the shops.

Specification fitted as standard across the range includes auto headlight control, electric adjustable, folding and heated door mirrors, LED daytime running lights and rain sensing wipers. The inside sees multi-zone climate control, steering wheel mounted controls, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ with voice control, Bluetooth® with music streaming and front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera.

Safety is important at all levels, so the all-new Sportage includes a raft of safety features as standard across all grades. This includes downhill brake assist, electronic stability control, forward collision avoidance and hill start assist, as well as intelligent speed limit assist and lane following, and lane keep assist. For customers wishing to tow, the Sportage is also fitted with trailer stability assist.

Now available to test drive at Todds the Sportage is available with five standard model grades and a special Launch Edition.

Stylish and practical and costing £29,995, the Launch Edition is available with the 1.6-litre T-GDi 148bhp petrol engine and comes with a high level of specification. The exterior is fitted with 18-inch alloys, privacy glass, and a smart silver garnish throughout the exterior, as well as LED front fog lights. The Sportage combines a dynamic road presence with a class-leading and driver-focused premium cabin. Highlights of the Launch Edition include black cloth and faux leather upholstery, heated front and rear outer seats, leather heated steering wheel, front power adjustable seats with drivers lumbar support as well as cruise control with speed limiter and engine stop/start with smart entry.

Connectivity includes a 12.3-inch supervision colour cluster display alongside a 12.3-inch display with navigation, as well as a six-speaker audio system and free seven-year Kia Connect (formerly UVO) services.
